Why do I need a website?
A well designed website is your company's super online brochure where customers can find out about you 24 hours a day. This may also cut down on the time you spend on the phone answering calls as the most frequently asked questions can be posted on your website.

Can small businesses profit by having a website?
Yes! The best thing about having a professional-looking website is that it is impossible to tell the size or your company - you can project an image of a large corporation.

How cost-effective is it?
Very! Your website information is printed by your site's visitors when they visit. There's no cost of printing paper brochures or coupons, obtaining address lists, addressing each individual piece and mailing it. Compare the cost also to yellow page or magazine and newspaper ads, the costs or these are too high for the average small business owner.

Yes and no. Yahoo! is first and foremost a directory of websites, edited by human editors. However, because Yahoo! is so selective about which sites make it into their directory, they've contracted with Inktomi to provide additional search results. While these Google results are technically not part of Yahoo! itself, they do appear when you search Yahoo! and our placement strategies are very effective with Google.
